Cerridwen Keeper of the Cauldron, Goddess of the Moon, magic, agriculture, poetry, music, art, prophecy, fertility and science. Cerridwen's name is derived from the Celtic word "cerru", meaning cauldron. Cerridwen herself and the cauldron are a lot a like in the respect that they both symbolize the transformation powers of magic, rebirth, creative inspiration and wisdom. So because of this Cerridwen is known as the Patron Goddess of wizards and witches. Cerridwen is a shape-shifting, lunar deity, herbalist, witch, as well as the Keeper of the Cauldron of Knowledge, Inspiration and Transformation. Cerridwen is considered to be a dark Goddess, who is full of a great amount of knowledge, inspiration and transformational skills.
