Because of this birth defect it causes damage to parts of the human brain that control movement, when a child is diagnosed or infected he or she cannot move their muscles normally. Symptoms could be mild or severe, the condition stays the same throughout their whole life. With treatment, most children or adults can improve their abilities. Many children have worse defects that need more treatment. Example : mental retardation, speaking, learning, hearing, seizures, or vision.
