There were a few good-sized knives in the kitchen, but unless any of them were Excalibur, they probably wouldn’t do much good against an archangel. Under the kitchen sink, she found a small toolbox which contained a hammer. It could definitely inflict heavy damage, even to somebody as brutish as Michael, but it would require being close, too close for her liking especially when Michael carried a gun with him. A Gun! Angela thought. That’s what she needed and Alex had one. It was only a little six-shooter revolver, but it was her best choice over a knife and hammer. She remembered that Alex had purchased one after someone had broken into her home and ransacked the place, most likely in search of valuables they could then sell for drug money given the area’s shady
