To carry out daily activity efficiently it is important to maintain a balance. Our Cental Nervous System (CNS) generates all muscle functions required for regulating the link between center of mass and the support surface (Maki and Mcllory, 1996). Mental retarded children are slow in processing information and central nervous system have problem in keeping balance in different circumstances. The ability to keep balance is affected because of delay in learning undamental skills including movement skills (Gooday and Branta, 2003). Studies have shown that 10 to 80 percent cases of developmental delay is found in mental retarded children (Carmeli, 2004).
