Different states have different crime and census rate. Even in the same state the counties has different crime and census rate. Crime rate is the number of crimes that have been committed Crime rate is computed by the number of crimes based on the state, county, or even by their category. There are different volumes of crimes, and some crimes are more serious than others. The crime rate is inserted on the Federal Bureau of Investigation website by different states, and counties. The rate is broken by a yearly average. The census is a survey based on the population in a state, county, or city assorted by details of individuals. There are three different federal census taken and is done at 5 and 10 years’ increments. There are different trends and patterns in crime for your state, local city, and zip code. There is also different trends and patterns for migration for your state, and local neighborhood. However, there is also different things that has happen in my area to both increase and decrease the crime rate. …show more content…
One of the things that has increase the crime rate was the migration percentage. It seems as the population increased the crime rate increase. I think that was a case, because you have individuals coming from different states, or areas that has committed crime and was in this area, because they were running. I also think the rate has increase because of number individuals that are gang related and has migrated to Colquitt County. This has been one of the cases that was discussed in a community meeting regarding crime rate, and why it has increase. One of the things in my area that has been done to decrease the crime was arrest the individuals that was committing the crime. Once the individuals that was mainly causing the problems in the community was arrested it decrease the violent crimes a lot. One of the crimes that was violent and decrease was
