Furthermore, there are many cases in U.S. history that also support the thesis that censorship should not be allowed in schools or school environments. In the West Virginia Board of Education v. Barnette a judge declares it's not right to “ prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion, or other matters of opinion.” This prefaces that just because a school administration does does not agree with the ideas or beliefs expressed in any school or library material they are not allowed to, legally, to remove it from the curriculum or library. This provides support for the thesis because it shows an example where the censorship of material in schools was deemed wrong. Another case that can be used is the case of Board of Education,
