The Billy Bob’s catering companies located in the greater Boston area is a major player in the food industry. It is also the proprietor of D&D catering, KO Catering and Pies and “T.” As a subsidiary, the Celtic catering company is one of many family owned and operated businesses of Billy Bob’s catering that came into conception on June 20th, 1983. Located downtown Boston at 2754 Tremont Street, it is at the center of where most Bostonians frequently visit all year long. Business owners Rick and Dan Johansen entering the foodservice industry after their father Billy succumb to an illness in 1990. SWOT Analysis Factors: Weaknesses

Identify Weakness #1 The lack of large-scale catering businesses in Boston area presents Celtic Catering Company with an exciting opportunity. We fully intend to exploit this by aggressively trying to capture market share. As we gain market share, we will assess the market and consider aggressive expansion of the operation.
Identify Weakness #2 The catering market requires the need for catering services to keep busy. Not having a steady stream of new jobs could cause employees to start leaving. The company’s marketing department will focus on lining up opportunities to have a presence at fairs or open locations to cover any potential gaps in catering opportunities.
