A little girl that was only two years old saved her mother 's life by using a cell phone to call her grandmother. The little girl 's name is Lia Vega. She saved her mother, Larissa Taylor 's life. One Thursday in October, Larissa fell, and landed in a way that constricted her breathing, Lia used a phone to call her grandma, and tell her that her mom fell down and wouldn’t wake up. Larissa was taken to the hospital and was told that she had multiple seizures due to the fact that she is diabetic and hypoglycemic. The seizures occurred because of her low blood-sugar levels. Larissa says that she never taught Lia how to use a phone, but that Lia would occasionally talk to her grandma on the phone. The doctors told Larissa that if she

More advanced technology is developing. The things you can do on cell phones now are limitless. whereas when you only used to be able to do a limited amount of things(“Pros and Cons of Cell Phones Becoming a Major Part of Children’s Lives 1”). Cell phones make using and saving money a lot easier. Having money in a bank account can eventually get expensive. Some poorer countries don’t have access to the things we take for granted.cell phones allow digital transactions which are cheaper and safer. Without cell phones there would be no digital transactions. Digital transaction makes credit available to the poor. This means they can investor start saving their money(Higgins 1). The UK government says that billions of people own cell phones, but few have bank accounts(2). Sometimes cell phones are used to save lives. Phones are used to call 911 if there is an emergency and you need help quickly. Phones have also been used in mHealth which stands for mobile health. Mhealth is a program used in the developing world to provide healthcare services. Also, there are more programs like mhealth that help people get the medicine and treatment that they need(3). Cell phones create new websites like Craigslist and Amazon where an individual can sell and purchase items. These types of websites are also cost effective because it doesn’t cost anything to use them. A couple of years ago few people were able to use the internet. Some companies had it so there was a limited amount of characters. Many didn’t use the internet because it was inconvenient. Now mobile phones have developed and they are way more efficient(4). On the internet people have access to about everything. Like, when a person is out somewhere and needs to know an answer to a question.
