Cell phones are generally very disliked in schools for many reasons such as they can be a distractions, which can lead to ultimately the lowering of grades, and can later affect their attitude in a negative way. However what you Mr. Holmberg and many other people outside of the school ground don’t realize is that cell phones can also be very good to the school atmosphere. Cell phones should be allowed in our school because not only do they keep people safe in and out of school, they can also be very helpful in school with different interactive ways to communicate with people around the world and other students and teachers. Cell phones would save our school and many other schools districts everywhere else around the world money.

Cheating is really the only real reason to ban cell phone use in schools but cheating was always able to be done even if we have cell phones or not. Just because it can be used for cheating doesn’t mean that it will be used for cheating. There are lots of ways people can cheat without cell phones and if teachers still think the cell phones will be used to cheat on a test then the teachers can easily collect the mobile device before they take the test.
In conclusion, cell phones should be allowed in school because they increase safety inside our school and many others, they help better the learning process, and finally they help school districts save money. There are lots of benefits that cell phones give us and the school day will definitely become more enjoyable for students and even teachers. Technology moves forward not backwards and the world upgrades as time goes on. So, let our school join in and take a step into the future for our school by allowing cell phones in
