Technology has come to assist people and more ways than imagined. Technology has been an active ingredient to our daily lives. There has been a lot of confusion over the years regarding whether cellular devices such as androids and iPhones are a hinderance to human development. This statement is false due to the definition of technology. Technology is the means by which a society provides its members with those things needed and desired. Technology has saved us from doing the heavy lifting in life so that we have time to other work. Cell phones have not only saved us from the heavy lifting but also provided us with the safety that a mere human can not provide.
There are many aspects that cell phones are used to keep people safe. This topic leans towards kids and teens between ages 10-19. Cell phones bring comfort to both the parents and the child. When the students are dismissed from school and are waiting for their parents to pick them up they can inform their parents that they are waiting for them by calling them. Many tweens and teens participate in extracurricular activities after school. They contact their parents, telling them when they will be ready to be picked up.
