As a little kid I remember always wanting a cell phone. They were so cool, they could do amazing things. Cell phones almost seemed magic to me when I was a little kid. I remember my first phone, a Sony Ericson. My friend Logan used to think we were so cool because we had cell phones. We spent a lot of time playing with our cell phones; also we used them to communicate with all our friends. So naturally the cell phone became a big part of my life. As I got older I became the guy that always had the newest cell phone. I had to have the latest and greatest. I went through many different smart phones and am still upgrading regularly. Bill gates once said, “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1,000 MPG.” There is competition in the auto industry, but nowhere near like the technology industry. I think you should not stay loyal to a product. I think you should buy whichever is the best product. That is why I am in this category, I buy whatever smart phone that I think is the best.

Some people will buy one product and take care of it and use it forever. They think it is a waste to buy new things when the things they own work. This mostly happens with people that have been poor at some point in their life, because they hold more value in items they own. This is fine with many things, but not with technology. Technology advances so fast that if you buy the best on the market a month later it is no longer the best. For the everyday person they do not care about having the best because they do not need the best and they really don’t need the best. So they just keep the same piece of technology and they don’t even know what they are missing.
