Imagine your child coming home from a long day of school with their hands in their face balling their eyes out. Your son or daughter is crying because one of their peers had taken a picture of them (when they should not have) and posted it all over social media. As a parent you are destroyed to see your child so hurt by one students actions. What would you do in this situation? Call the school? Complain how there is not enough watch on the students? Have the student suspended or maybe even expel. Cell phones should not be allowed in school. They could be useful to students and parents. If their were to be an emergency the students would be able to contact their parents quicker and easier. They could also be used as a resource for papers or even as a calculator. These are good valid points, but these problems could be used without the use of a cell phone. In an emergency students should stay with their teacher and then contact their parents after everything is okay.
