In an experiment there are two variables: the independent variable (cause) and the dependent variable (effect). The independent variables are split into two groups the experimental group, the group the gets the “change” and the control group or condition. The controlled condition is the group that isn’t manipulated to show the natural state of the variable. It is crucial to have a controlled condition when testing this hypothesis because it helps you find factors …show more content…
In every experiment that we dealt with we must use random selection to keep the experiment from being bias in anyway.
For the cell pharm impairs driving skill experiment researchers should design an experiment that coinside with the protocol. and make it so that htd only difference between bothe conditions is the use of a cell phone . in order to do this one must first use natural selfection to choose the participants driving in this experiment. them one must separate the indepentdent variable into two groups the experimentsal group wich is manipulated with the phone and the control group which does not contain the phone.
once you generate this experient you will be able to anylaise your results and get a depentednt variable. in conclustion using the protocal , knowing what a controled condition is, why it is important, and knowing how to properly addighn the conditions to the participants will give you a more accurate
