The drive back from our theme park, we saw it. I looked at my sister with tears in my eyes hoping everything was going to be okay. My grandparents pulled into the parking lot of a hiking spot so we could walk to see what was happening. My eyes filled with tears as I watched it grow stronger. All four of us stood there watching the cedar creek fire grow bigger. We drove home as fast as we could and packed up what we needed to take. My grandpa took me up to a mountain to look at the fire from a different angle. I sent photos and text everyday to my mom and dad updating them. One night we were watching the news I heard that the town that I was in was close to evacuating. The fire had tore so many buildings apart and would not stop.
