Cedar Rapids Animeals Research Paper

The Cedar Rapids Animeals is a great local charity that focuses on helping with animals and people around the Cedar Rapids Iowa area. The charity began in December of the year 2000, and has been serving the community ever since then. The Cedar Rapids Animeals specializes in helping animals get food when needed and helping the owners who may not be able to go out and get food for their animal on their own. The Charity was started by a petco employee and meals on wheels employee. Together these two people founded a charity that helps out people and animals that are in need of assistance. One concern with the charity is that it is only providing to a very small area. Currently they are assisting people and animals in Cedar Rapids, Marion, and Hiawatha. With a small area it limits the possibilities that this charity has and the impact that it could have if they started to expand throughout Iowa and even different states. Another concern with this charity is that the food is not always the same with each delivery. Because the charity relies on the communities donations the food can vary in the brand. Also if your dog cannot eat dry dog food and needs to be provided canned food, it could be hard to get when mostly the donations done are dry dog food. The last concern with this charity is that it only serves cats and dogs. Along with the limited area this is also a limiting factor towards this charity. The charity could do so much more if they expanded and helped out more a range of animals. Although there is some small concerns with The Cedar Rapids Animeals, it is still great charity. With the charity helping the elderly and disabled having a chance to connect with an animal is amazing. Having assistance available for who needs it, with no cost is what makes this charity top of the
