It was June 6th, 2016, the end of my eighth-grade year at TKMS, I woke up, at 5:30, jumped out of bed, got dressed, ate, and yelled at my mom to get in the car, all by 6:20. But of course we weren’t even close to ready, and we didn’t even need to leave until 7:30. So after reluctantly going back inside, to pack a spare pair of clothes, sunscreen, and our tickets (which we almost forgot), we were finally ready to go and it was already 7:40,
“MOM!!!” I yelled panicking, “WE’RE GONNA BE LATE!!!”
“We’re fine,” my mom said, “now calm down and say goodbye.”
After we had left, and we were on the road, it was almost 8:00. I was not going to be late, to one of the best times of my …show more content…
Siekman, my best friends Charlee and Montserrat, and a few parents that my mom knew. We started off with Cork Screw, and the Mine ride, which were both super fun and a good start, and each ride we did, slowly got bigger and bigger, and better and better, except for Blue Streak, which is the oldest coaster in the park, and I thought I was going to fall out. But other than that we had a great time, I had chicken strips, tacos, and fries for lunch and Mom had a giant wrap and fries. I was TERRIFIED, Claire had fingernail marks in her arm, and as our cart emptied of the people before us, I got light headed, I vaguely remember getting in and buckled. I started to take deep breaths I was starting to feel better when I felt how secure the harnesses were. But then we started to move, at first it was okay, slow and easy going around the first corner, but then I saw the unbelievable hill that was 170 ft tall, this ride brakes 7 different records in the world and one is it’s got the longest drop for a wing coaster!!!
Slowly climbing to the top, felt longer than the car ride! But then when we got to the top, we paused, getting a great view of Sandusky Ohio. Then creeping forwards all I was was the ground, I couldn’t even see the track...then ZOOM!!!! We started to fall and twist and jerk, and all I did was scream, at the top of my lungs,
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”, all I could hear was Claire, my mom, and my uncle laughing their heads off at me, but I didn’t care, it felt good. By the time I was finally able to open my eyes, we were going through the second gate, and I thought I was going to hit my head, so I ducked, and so did everyone else. And just like that,
