It is obvious that Center for Clean Air Policy is responsible for the contents of the website, since the website has the same name as the agency. In the section of “ABOUT CCAP”, which is shown right under its logo on the home page, the website briefly describes CCAP’s history, staff, mission statement and achievements. It is stated that CCAP is an independent and nonprofit think tank working on issues about climate and air quality policy at different regions. In the “CONTACT” page, there is specific information about the phone number, fax and postal address of CCAP’s headquarters.

Accuracy
The website does not provide any links to outside sources about what specific policy the institution is currently addressing. However, the sources for any factual information and numerical data are clearly listed at the bottom of each page of CCAP’s articles, which can be verified in another source. There are only three events and one featured work that CCAP updates on its website in 2016. In addition, the last achievement in the “IMPACTS” section was in 2013. Therefore, the material on the website is not kept current. CCAP needs to update relevant information more frequently to make sure readers can obtain necessary information in time. The most significant defect about currency of CCAP’s official website is that viewers cannot find the information about CCAP’s annual financial statement or annual funding report.
