Causes Of Volkswagen's Death

Decent Essays
There was a horrible accident that took place in Manhattan leaving the driver dead along with seven individuals being injured. The accident occurred because the driver whom was driving a silver Volkswagen GTI was headed southbound trying to cut between two cars at a red light. Since the driver of the Volkswagen made such a horrible decision it caused the individual to die, not mentioning that they were going 80 mph; so I assume they were in a rush. The Volkswagen crashed into two cars which was a black Chrysler 300 and a red Nissan Maxima. Those two cars were at the red light when the Volkswagen tried to quickly squeeze between them. Luckily, everyone was able to recover from the wreck, some of the individuals involved were sore but they were

Mannhardt told me that he was traveling West on East Clark street; he then said that he thought that he was in the intersection of the cross streets when he had to swerve to the right to try to not collide with Ms. Bailey’s vehicle. Mr. Mannhardt did in fact collide with her vehicle; the driver’s side of Mr. Manhardt’s vehicle had some front end damage (pictures are provided with this report). The white Chevy Cavaliers hood is creased like a tepee on the driver’s side and the headlight is pushed in. There was also some paint transfer on the area of the vehicle where it had been…

So after I watched the “Lives Affected Video” I started to think about how dangerous drunk and drinking drivers really are. As I started to think some more I realized that I think there are more drunk and drinking drivers than we think and that we are lucky that more people haven’t gotten hurt. There are impacts that drunk drivers have on innocent people and that they are in danger just because a drunk man/woman decided to get on the road ways and drive him/herself home. If an accident did occur then not only would the victim’s lives and in some cases their loved ones lives be impacted by the drunk driver but the drunk driver’s life would have been impacted by the crash.…

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…
