Three important social problems are awareness of autism, unequal pay between men and women and illegal immigration. The issue I chose to focus on is unequal pay between men and women. The community psychology values that are relevant to this issue is social injustice. Social injustice relates to unequal pay because of advocacy and wanting a change. Also, social injustice represents fairness for citizens such as resources and obligations.
Some of the causes of unequal pay between men and women is most people believing men have all of the strength. Some people believe women are just meant to do clerical work.
The issue involve factors at the microsystem level because it focus on the work group. The issue also affect those at the individual level
