Abstract
Introduction: Tax evasion is main problem in Pakistan due to which Pakistan remains under a lot of stress. Tax evasion results in less revenue.

Different definitions of tax are as following.
According to Wikipedia “A tax (from the Latin taxo; "rate") is a fiscal charge or else other rates compulsory in the lead a taxpayer (for one person or else officially permitted entity) by a state or else the functional equivalent of a state such with the aim of failure to reimbursement is punishable by law.”
According to investor words “A fee charged ("levied") by a government on an artifact, takings, or else bustle. The drive of taxation is to finance government expenditure.
