The nurse was in a position with her seeing Juliet so often to act as a psychological aid, but in the end she went along with Lord and Lady Capulet. For example, “Romeo is banishèd, and all the world to nothing That he dares ne'er come back to challenge you.(3.5.10)” This is saying that Rome is banished and that he will never come back to challenge you. The nurse should have thought that her words have actions and in this case the result was the death of Juliet.
Cultural expectations that a girl or boy who is 13 is able to go through a period of intense love without needing any help is what caused Romeo and Juliet's deaths. Purly the cause of their deaths was the absence on the Montagues and the Capulets to have someone who could talk openly with them.
