For many people it is nature to lie in order to evade prosecution or trouble. When people fail or make mistakes in life, they tend to blame others. The enormous amounts of guilt that comes when committing a murder is a lot for one single person to hold alone. In Macbeth, by William Shakespeare there is plenty of this going on. Macbeth’s downfall was mostly caused by Lady Macbeth and the witches.
