The main contents she seeks to elaborate are; causes of inequality, different forms of inequality, inequalities across different societies, the agents of gender inequality, institutions and practices that promote gender inequality, and its effects on the society. One of the mentees even suggests ways to improve the office, for example, she starts by trying to suggest something but her mentor turned her down right way. When she does finally get a chance to tell him what she would like to do to the business to make it better, he reacts to her suggestions by firing her. It is clear that women are able to be apart of the business but clearly, they are not able to put their two cents in. Sexual harassment also somewhat plays a role when it comes to gender inequality in the workplace. Women are often seen as the victims to it being done on but men could be the victims as well. I believe sexual harassment happens mostly when the employees realize that they are not being taken seriously. Sexual harassment can occur in many different ways, it can be verbal, including remarks, jokes or teasing. And it can be physical like brushing up against someone or touching them in a way where it can be uncomfortable to the other person. This can cause a lot of complications in a person’s workplace.
