Pollution affects humans because it can cause health issues. Some of these health issues are chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer, heart disease, and even brain damage. Growing children can be affected by this a lot, because pollution affects their lungs, and also elderly can be affected a lot because it may complicate medical conditions. Animals are also affected my pollution. One way is because it destroys their habitats. Animals tend to live in areas that have plant growth, and that is being destroyed by pollution. Poisoning is also hurting animals, because when they get into lakes or rivers that have high levels of pollution it can kill them. Then, another way that pollution affects animals is because it can mess up their migration. When areas are polluted and food is no longer available, they may start to migrate. They may begin migrating to areas that do not fit there needs, and many could die. Plants and ecosystems are affected by pollution in a negative way as well.
