Romeo and Juliet find love in just the right place at just the right time in order for fate to work it’s course. Or was it fate? Was it just pure lust and teen angst? Or were they at the wrong place at the wrong time? What was the cause of death of the two star crossed lovers? I can tell you exactly what causes these two tragic and untimely deaths. In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet Romeo and Juliet’s deaths are a product of poor choices by them and Friar Lawrence. The first reason I believe that the deaths are caused by the poor choices of Juliet. My first point is that Juliet is only thirteen. She shouldn’t be in a relationship like this or any type of relationship in the first place. She knows better but then again she is only thirteen. …show more content…
Romeo, being the older but somehow less mature one in the relationship. I can put most of the blame on him because he knew what he was doing. He manipulate a immature thirteen year old into falling in love with him. He knew he looked like a medieval Zac Efron. But somehow he didn’t understand the consequences of his actions. When he had the decision to go or not go to the capulets party he did this. “I’ll go along no such sight to be shown”(1.2.107) When he had the decision to engage in a fight with tybalt, he fought. When he had the decision to marry Juliet, he married her. A whole slew of bad choices and bad insight led to the final choice of death. A premature death for sure. Had he just waited or CHECKED her pulse. He would be alive. She would be alive. If Romeo had just kept his cool when Mercutio was slain he would not have been banned from Verona. Which would have kept him from leaving Juliet. Which in turn would have kept them both alive. Then if he had just checked her pulse instead of just assuming she is dead would have kept him from killing himself and Juliet killing herself. Then he didn’t have to marry Juliet, which would have prevented the whole rushed and stressed feeling I’m sure he

The first outcome is that Juliet ends up actually killing herself. Romeo does not know about the plan that Friar Lawrence has made, and his emotions led him to come up with a plan very quickly. If he would have took his time and thought about his options, he either would have made a different choice or Friar Lawrence would have saved Juliet from the tomb before Romeo would arrive. Since Romeo rushed his plan he ended up killing himself as well as causing Juliet to kill herself. Another negative thing that came from Romeo's decision is Paris’ death.…
