Why Do Students Cheat In a Classroom? School system and education patterns have evolved dramatically in the past few centuries. Educational models have been altered to adapt society and circumstances needs in order to become suitable for current period. At some point in the past, parents were the main source of education, having the role of Mother mainly for most of life’s experience, and the role of Father for teaching hunting and wildings survival techniques (The Evolution of Educational Systems Through History). Moving along the way to the current time, and having Common School Era in the mid-1800s due to the industrial revolution during the 18th and 19th centuries, education is now mainly being performed in the setting of a classroom (Only a Teacher: Teaching Timeline). Students tend to be lazy and thoughtlessly dependent on their peers. In addition, even if they do hard work, the will not get the satisfaction of it as other students who achieve their tasks honestly. The first negative affect the students will notice is that they will have to repeat the course, get reported for cheating and get expelled from the school. On the other hand, long term effect will be on the nation wild where the work force will have underqualified graduates who supposedly able to perfume a certain tasks with an expected knowledge and ability.
In conclusion, cheating is an act that should not be done by students. In addition to no benefit, cheating will greatly harm themselves and others. By cheating students are disappoint themselves, their parents and everyone else who trusted them. The best way for students to not cheat is to believe in themselves and play it fair.
