The disorder that I chose to do for research is Alzheimer Disease. Alzheimer’s is a disease that destroys Memories and other functions in the brain by death of brain cells. It grows worse and worse over time as the person ages. Some of the symptoms for this disorder are forgetfulness such as asking a question over and over again without realizing. Mild confusion, and over time memory will be lost. Also Anxiety, Irritability, and depression will occur. Some of the causes of this Alzheimer’s is ageing and two main forms of nerve damage. All of it isn’t caused by ageing but some of it is. The Nerve damage is caused by nerve tangles and protein deposits (beta-amyloid). Also genetically you can get it. If you have one parent that has the disorder you a have a less risk than a person that both parents have the disorder.
