There are many autoimmune diseases that are attacking many healthy cells including Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Vitiligo, Crohn’s Disease, Multiple sclerosis, and much more. Crohn’s Disease is similar to inflammatory bowel movement because of various signs and symptoms such as fatigue, diarrhea, fever, blood in your stool, abdominal pain and cramping, and much more (Mayo Clinic, 2017, August 7). The symptoms can escalate from mild to severe and many patients may have to undergo surgery. This is an autoimmune disease because everyone is entitled to how their body would react due to their immune system. According to MayoClinic (2017), some major predisposing factors for this disease are age, hereditary, environment, family history, and more to be continued. Doctors would have to do multiple blood tests such as checking for anemia or fecal blood test to see if a patient suffers from Crohn’s disease. (Mayo Clinic, 2017, August 7) Other suggestions that are used to diagnose this disease are colonoscopy, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), capsule endoscopy, and balloon assisted endoscopy. As a final, we should instruct our physical therapist to consider using these medicines because it will help ease the symptoms and enhance their health. …show more content…
However, there is no cure for Crohn’s disease but there is some resources/complementary alternative medicine where it can help decrease the effect which includes (Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, 2017, n.d)
