World war One had a big impact on the country, if not the world. It comes to fighting, changing laws, agreements, disagreements etc. World War One, also known as “the Great War” It started in 1914 after the assassination Of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and ended in 1918. There was a lot of pressure and stress at this time for america . During the conflict, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria and Germany fought against Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Romania, France, Japan and the United States. Germany’s Team was the Central Powers and Great Britain’s Team were the Allied Powers. In four year’s of War nearly 9 million people died and millions were crippled and injured in many horrible ways. Militarism is known as getting military resources both for national defense and for protection of colonial interest. Militarism increased naval forces and it put more of the military men upon the policies of the civilian Government.In other words, militarism had a preference for force as solutions to problems. That was the first cause of war, the second cause was there was too many alliances that often made each other worse. Alliances were made in secret and they created a lot of tension and distrust among the European powers. The General suspicion stopped their diplomats to make a suitable solution to many of the crises preceding the war. As war goes on with disagreements and distrust the love of one’s country easily became hatred of the other
