The causes and effects of social media In the age of developments and technology, the evaluation of media started to spread out in the whole world, the popularity of media is getting larger every day because people are in need to communicate with each other and to send and deliver information from far places. The types of media are internet, television, radio, newspaper and magazines and people are crazy about them they can’t spend a day without them. There are a lot of reasons and causes that help to spread media. In this essay, I will discuss some of the causes and effects of social media also, the different types of media and the most common one.

For example, it's the only way to keep are posts hidden from the world. Even so, you should be careful, because screenshots of your updates can still be shared by any of the friends you approve. In addition, nothing you post online is truly private. (Nield, 2017). The second result of used social media is on weight in children. For instance, watching television or playing with computer over 2 hours/day might result in obesity in children due to the lack of activity. Studies also suggest that 80% of overweight children might become overweight in adult life [9,10] which is lead to disease like Diabetes , Hypertension and hard breathing .( Karaagac, 2015,p.469). Finally, used social media has an effect on student. For example, use of Facebook for educational purposes can decrease student concentration as their participate changes according to their mood. We must mediate in use social media and take all the benefits and leave damage. So, we must raise awareness among people in terms of their importance and in terms of seriousness. Social media has become so popular, but this common affects the society in positive and negative way.
