THE EFFECT AND CAUSES OF SMOKING TO TEENAGERS

Most people know smoking is bad for their health but do they really understand smoking can make their life in dangerous. One of the most common problem today that are killing people all over the world is cigarette. Tobacco contains nicotine a highly addictive drug that can makes a difficult for smokers to quit from smoking. Not only tobacco that contains in cigarette can harm us, but it also has tar, ammonia, alcohol and carbon monoxide. Nowadays smoking is famous among young teenagers. For them, smokes can make themselves looks “cool” in front of people mostly girls. Teenagers should know that they must be in a good health for their study and should have a good thinking to lead an organization

As a smoker, it is a normal thing for them to spend their money to buy boxes of cigarettes. Most of the times, teenagers will use their money to buy cigarettes instead of books or foods. This will cause them to starve and keep borrowing money from friends to buy meals and because of this the debt will never be decrease. The worst outcome is when they become addicted to smoking it can cause them to steal when they are desperate. On the other hand, “Better Health Channel” (2014) concluded that teenagers future does not depend on their health only, but it also depend on their money for living cost. Since the cigarettes are expensive, imagine how much they can spend their money for their needs if they did not smoke. We do not know what will happen in the future of our life. So, teenagers should really start saving their money and prepared for the situation that need them to use a lot of money in the future. Moreover, teenagers must learn how to be independent because the source of money is either from their parents or scholarship. They really need to learn how to use the money wisely and not spending it on unnecessary stuff such as buying boxes of cigarettes. This shows that smoking cannot make the teenagers spend their money
