9/11 was a catastrophic incident on the early morning of September 11, 2001. It was an organized attack carried out by four terrorist attacks by Al-Qaeda, an Islamic group, in total. The attackers hijacked airplanes (with passengers in them) and flown them into multiple locations such as, World Trade Center’s Twin Towers in New York, Pentagon in Washington, and a field in Pennsylvania. The terrorists also had bombs and weapons. An enormous amount of people were killed and injured; about 2,996 deceased and over 6,000 injured. (including those who died of cancer later from the toxins in the air) The damage was awful as well; about 1.8 tons of debris from the World Trade Center was cleaned up.
