The multiple causes for the start of WWII, which causes also led to the involvement of many nations around the world, can be traced back to the inevitable rise of Adolf Hitler. World War II did not take place in just one area of the world; while it focused itself around the center of Europe and Germany, the theater of battle included Africa and the Asian Pacific region too. With the rapid rebirth of the German nation, other countries still in shock from the first World War, were seemingly too weary to oppose the power and demands of the new German nation. The question at hand was not what to do next, but how to do so. Should the nations unite to protect one another, or should they surrender and give in to the devilish demands of Hitler? The initial approach taken by Great Britain was to seek to appease Hitler’s desire for expansion by permitting the annexation of the German speaking region of Czechoslovakia.
