Over 3.5 million people become homeless every year, and the government doesn’t help out as much as everyone thinks they do. A lot of people say they help the homeless but in reality, most of them treat the homeless like scum, they can't even spare 25 cents.If people help out even one homeless person it will make a huge change in the society. The main causes of homelessness is poverty and unemployment, but some people think differently.

Most people say that it is their own faults and they shouldn't have to help them, but everyone would want help if they were homeless, no one wants to be shut out and neglected. But why donate money that they might use to buy drugs, don't give them money buy them food, clothes, and water! These are easy solutions to ¨complicated¨ problems, take a stand when no one else will. A high percentage of the homeless have some education, it's not like they are monstrous, uneducated, beings, they are just normal people who hit a rough patch in their life and never got out of it due to losing their job, not having enough money to pay bills, and then kicked out of their house. It can happen to anyone, even to the richest people. the main reason people need to help the homeless is because they are people too. They are not monsters, God loves them as he does everyone, he wants society to love their neighbor, the homeless are the neighbor and to love them, everyone needs to accept the fact that they need help. Some homeless people are trying to make something out of their lives, people have seen the homeless knitting hats, selling chips, playing drums, and even dancing.
