Scientists have spent decades in search for the causes of global warming. Over the years, they have learned that global warming is due to the earth’s surface temperature. The earth’s surface temperature increases because greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere. Ultimately, creating a shell around the earth that thickens, keeping in the sun’s deadly heat, causing the planet to heat up. In fact, there is more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere today than at any point in the last 800,000 years. President Obama has addressed climate change, stating, “There’s one issue that will define the contours of this century more dramatically than any other, and that is the urgent threat of a changing climate.” Global warming can lead to world destruction

“The use of forests for fuel, both wood, for charcoal and other necessary lifestyle products cause deforestation. In order satiate ourselves, for wood and other products, mainly habitat and to build farms we are chopping forest which is not a good sign and has also lead to decrease in rainfalls.” The rain forest is not just a place for animals to live and survive. Although they are small particles, together they have a vast impact on the earth. Since aerosols act as propellants, it means that aerosols have the ability to absorb sunlight and heat from the earth. All in all, the negatives of global warming outweigh the positives. Greenhouses and fossil fuels are ruing the ozone layer, the sea level is rising due to the earth warmth, and aerosols are containing the earth heat even more.
