What is child abuse? Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child.Child Abuse can be reported in many ways,and their are certain people who have to report and they are called mandatory reporters.Teachers, Nurses, and Counselor are supposed to report if they think one of their students is a victim of child abuse. In most states professions that engage in regular contact with children are as listed as mandatory reporters. Child abuse often occurs because adults blame all of their stress on the children, as the children they are looking after are often not their own and the parents are often substance abuser. Stress has a big part in child abuse , some parents are so stressed out and they blame their children for their own problems.
