Cause And Effect On Teen Moms

Everyone ask there self why there so many empty sites in school because the top reason is that the majority of teen girls get pregnant which makes them think that they do not have a chance to graduate so they droop school. Being a young mom is not easy but not impossible with the help of their family and friends. “Thirty percent of all teenage girls who drop out of school cite pregnancy and parenthood as key reasons. Rates among Hispanic (36 percent) and African American (38 percent) girls are higher. Educational achievement affects the lifetime income of teen mothers: two-thirds of families started by teens are poor, and nearly one in four will depend on welfare within three years of a child’s birth. Many children will not escape this cycle of poverty. One of the biggest problems that teen girl’s haves is that they get bulling during their pregnancy or after they had their baby most of the times teen girls get bully by their teachers or by their classmates. In some cases girls get rapped and get bully because they do not know the father of their baby because they look different they have different skin color, hair or face compare to their mom. “When teens become parents, they instantly become victims of discrimination, judgment, and stereotyping. They are expected to drop out of high school, apply for welfare, neglect their children, and accomplish nothing to be proud of.
