We have seen many commercials or movie scenes that show the danger of texting while driving. As the driver took his or her eyes off the road in about only three seconds to read a text, they often got involved in a horrible accident that might cost their lives. We are very familiar with this kind of situation as they are all over the medias. In the front page of a newspaper, in the local news or in the story heard from your friend.

Many people were killed in road accidents and it is increasing with year. One of its major causes is distracted driving crashes. Every year, about 400,000 people are injured in crashes which involved distracted drivers. Furthermore, 78% of all distracted drivers were drawn away by texting while driving. We need

It is a huge responsibility to transport people in your vehicle and it should not be taken lightly. In other words, you are carrying other people’s lives while you drive. So, you need to be extra careful if you have passengers in your vehicle. Not to mention the pedestrians. They are smaller and less noticeable than the vehicles. A split second distraction is all it takes to end someone’s perfect live.

Vehicle and phone are two different types of machine. One is a means of transportation while the other helps you to connect with another person. They are not meant to be used together as driving requires you to give all of your attention. Just a glance at your phone can cover a lot of distance on road and you might not notice the presence of others. People should not overestimate themselves and think that they can multitask while driving. Reading a text is not a priority when it comes to driving.

Without we even realize, vehicles can also be a weapon of murder if we are not careful enough. Stricter laws against texting while driving can make a difference. Even though people still text and drive regardless of what happen, they might open their eyes to this issues and make themselves aware if laws are
