Christmas is also known as X-mas and mid winter, ‘Christ’s Mass ‘ is the word from which Christmas has derived. It is celebrated on 25th of December all around the world, coupled with, a public holiday is officially declared for this festival. Although its a festival celebrated by Christians worldwide ,people of other faith celebrate it too. Some decorate the artificial tree whereas some decorate the real tree. It is the Fir tree that doesn't shed its leave or fragrance at any time of the year so, its also said as evergreen tree. The true story is that centuries back people use to decorate it as well as partially worship it so that the crops grow well and they have a good income.

The main attraction of Christmas is the Santa clause for whom every child waits throughout the year. He is also known as Father Christmas and Kris Kringle but his original name is Saint Nicholas. He use to secretly gift poor children and bring a big smile on their faces. Some people followed that and then this story continued from generation to generation and now children believe that yet Santa Clause comes on 24th Decembers night and gifts them wat they like.
