Findlay is a close knit community in Northwestern Ohio of approximately forty thousand residents. Due to its prime location, it serves as an important exit to Interstate 75 and is the base of several global establishments such as Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Copper Tire and Rubber Company. Unfortunately, the hustling town came to a sudden halt in 2007 when hit by a record-setting flood. Waters rushed over seven feet above flooding stage, the worst flood seen in the city for nearly one hundred years. Businesses, historical locations, and homes were destroyed, while residents were thrown into complete dismay. School was cancelled, companies were lost, and the town leaders were forced to quickly devise a plan to rebuild their damaged home.
