There are almost 250 cows killed every hour at the beef slaughterhouses. The cruel and harsh treatment that happens in the slaughterhouses is unnecessary for these animals. They do not have to be treated like this if the people working in the houses knew more about them and how to treat them properly.The animals in these houses can not survive in these types of conditions due to a list of diseases such as E. Coli, Salmonella,bird flu, etc. these are just some of the diseases in the slaughterhouses. In the feedlots and auctions the kill buyers that attend may know the system of the auction and go by a ranch or a different name so they can not be tracked easily.A reporter by the name of Michael pollan went to the slaughterhouse with his cow to see what happens inside the doors of the house, he saw that the cows and other large animals go threw a blue door in single file lines, as they walk through a narrow aisle they get shocked by a stun machine. After they get stunned the people in charge of the cows have to put chains on the back legs and use a machine to hang them upside down and begin to remove the skin off the cow. There are animals that are supposed to be eaten and there are some animals that are meant to be pets. way the slaughterhouse is set up with too many animals in one pin is not humane because the animals can get infectious diseases. A “12”/”12” stall should only hold one horse because if there is two horses in the stall they can fight and there is not enough space for one to run away. The horses can get badly injured and it is not just horses it is cows,pigs,even goats can have trouble in those situations some of these animals can be very aggressive because of how they have been treated in the pass or
