Cats could arguably be one of the laziest animals on Earth, but what makes them so interesting? Cats are my theme for poetry because they are my favorite animal for many countless reasons. Cats do so many intriguing things that I thought would be very enjoyable to write about. They are always doing silly things that make you laugh, and they can’t stop finding new places to hide and nap. Another reason I chose cats as my poetry theme is that I have so many experiences with cats that could easily be turned into meaningful poems. I really like the poems I came up with, they are all about experiences, fun and annoying, that I have had with my cat.
