In this essay I will be comparing and contrasting the differences between “Cat and Rat:The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac” and, “How Cats and Mice Became Enemies”. These are both legends on how cats and rats/mice are enemies. I will be stating their similarities and differences in the following paragraphs. In this paragraph I am going to be stating the similarities of the legends. The similarities of the legends are that they both started out with the cat and rat/mice being best friends. They also had similar scenarios where they both had to cross a wide river. Another similarity was that the rat/mouse both cheated and had a negative personality.
