We all know that cats and mice are enemies, but why? Have they always been enemies? The stories Cat and Rat and Cat and mouse explain why they are enemies. Though they both give a good explanation they have a bit of a differencet. Although they are both legends you can decide if they are true.
Both these stories are legends. Legends are stories that have been passed down from generation to generation. In the story Cat and Rat they start out as friends. They are in a race. Rat decides to sabotage Cat. In Cat and Mouse they were also friends. They go on a trip and Mouse eats the boat. The theme on these stories is that some friends don’t always stay friends.
Though there are differences they are many things these stories have in common. First
