A major issue the world and Catholic Church confronts is Abortion. Abortion is “a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of the fetus.” Many people in the United States are affected by his problem. For example, “117 million or 130 million or more, the number of people missing because of abortion is overwhelming.” The Church addresses this problem by teaching Catholics that, “God loves each human life from the instant of his or her conception and entrusts this gift to the protection of a mother and father. Abortion ends the life of a child and offends God. It also deeply wounds the men and women involved.” Abortion should not be done at all, that is why we have adoption, because the babies haven’t done anything wrong.

Just as life cannot come from death (unless by miracle), neither can the fruit of life come from a dead heart.” I think abortion relates to suicide, and
