The best example of this teaching appears in the story about Gato and Flaco. One day, Flaco went with a couple of his friends to buy drugs, and he and his friends decided to use the drugs right outside the place that they purchased them. While experiencing this indulgence, he was hit by a car so hard that “the car had crushed [his] right leg and ripped his left arm clean off his body” (Boyle 131).
