Is it the right choice or wrong choice?” Catherine McGarrett, the wife of Commander Steve McGarrett who is the head of Hawaii’s Five O task force. Catherine is from Los Angeles, California. She grew up with two other sisters, Riley and Blake. Catherine is the younger of her two siblings. She is 45 years old and resides with her husband on the main island of Hawaii with their two dogs. Catherine went to the University of Southern California and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching. Once she graduated she moved to Hawaii, where she met Steve. They dated for several years while she got a job at a local elementary school, Kalihi Kai. She job trained for two years under Mrs. Elikapeka (meaning Promise of God) who had been teaching Elementary aged students for over 13 years. She then was ready to move on and teach her own class. At Kalihi Kai she taught second grade for three and half years. After completing her years of training and completing her first few years of teaching she wed McGarrett and they decided to open up her own school just down the road from their house. …show more content…

Being married to a state employee provides an option of government employee health insurance, and public employee insurance plans are known for better coverage than many plans. A patient whose job doesn’t offer health insurance coverage, or who is the sole income for a family would have fewer options for healthcare. This patient would likely have less insurance coverage, and less income to pay for expenses that insurance did not
