Social media are websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. Social media is not just one place it’s a network of many places on the internet that primary share information. People use it for many reasons some good some bad. It’s a place to share ideas and sometimes people turn it into a warzone. People use social media in many different ways, both good and bad, and through but negative aspects outweigh the positive. Catfishing is one of the worst ways to people can use social media. Mainly ugly people or fat person does it that has low self esteem. Cyber bullying is the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. This mostly is towards people my age or younger. Older kids target younger kids or a group of people or friends gang up on one person and just say anything negative about the person to make them feel like less of a person.
