Leaping to make a diving save. Burying a long distance three-pointer. Throwing a no-hitter. Hitting a game-winning home run. During my high school athletic career, I was able to distinguish myself at my high school by earning twelve varsity letters. While many student-athletes specialize on one sport today, I played three different sports during the fall, winter and spring: soccer, basketball and baseball. Some people may say that my love of sports started as a ball boy for my father, who by coincidence, coaches three varsity sports. For whatever the reason, the passion that I have for sports is genuinely undeniable. Besides playing three high school sports, I also enjoy playing golf, tennis and volleyball. Without question, I am a very energetic person that not only loves the competition of sports, but also, enjoys being physically active. Although I am not actively playing a sport at this current time, I helped coach a high school soccer team this fall and am currently an All-Star basketball coach for a seventh grade team. Initially, my love for coaching began while I volunteered as an All-Star baseball coach for three years with my father and brother for the local Cal Ripken league. As a result of these experiences that I have had as a player and coach, one of my goals is to become a coach at the high school or college level.
