My idols are usually based on who I am as a person, and how I can relate them to their lives somehow. My favorite people have always bounced around, whether they’re real or fictional. I play numerous of video games, listen to almost every genre of music, and read several different types of books, so I change my mind all the time. As of recently, one of my favorite figures has been Max from a game called Life is Strange. The game itself is beautifully designed graphically and plotline wise, and it really makes you think. To sum it up, the plot is that Max is a senior at an art school, where she’s living in the dorms with her fellow students. The game begins where she’s having a premonition of a big storm, then wakes up in photography class, which is her main study. She then finds out that she’s capable reverse time, and uses it to save a girl who gets shot by a boy in the bathroom by reversing time and preventing it. The girl turns out to be her old best friend Chloe, who she goes with to solve the mystery of her powers and her premonition, and to find Chloe’s missing friend Rachel. The game is a choice affected story, so the player has to make decisions for the main character Max that they believe are the wisest. All the characters and the story are so in depth that it makes decisions gradually more difficult. This story fascinates me with its concept and the story of this game, and find Max to be such an interesting and noble person.
